Solux Lands 3 Successive Electrical Construction Deals Totaling $25.9 Million

2026-06-10 3:05 am

Solux is making notable strides in the electrical construction industry, securing three major contracts within a brief period. The deals, which cumulatively amount to ~$25.9million USD (39.6 billion KRW South Korean Won), mark a boost for the company as it expands its presence in the electrical infrastructure sector.

On May 27, Solux signed a $10.1million USD (15.4 billion KRW) agreement with the Busan Goejeong-dong Regional Housing Cooperative. This project involves electrical, fire-fighting, and communication facility construction for an apartment complex. Following this, on June 4, the company secured two additional contracts: a $8.3million USD (12.7 billion KRW) project for the Asan Onyang mixed-use residential complex and a $7.5million USD (11.5 billion KRW) contract for the Jeonju Girin-dong mixed-use development project.

Typically, I focus on merger and acquisition news in the U.S., but this headline grabbed my attention because it highlights what is possible for a single company when the wind is behind their sails. String together three big deals and you can start playing the contractor game at a whole new level.

Transitioning into Comprehensive Electrical Solutions

Traditionally known as a specialist in LED lighting, Solux - also Sorux - has been diversifying its business since last year. By leveraging its expertise and experience in lighting design and installation, the company has expanded its operations into broader electrical construction sectors. These include electrical equipment, communications, fire safety systems, and full-scale architectural electrical infrastructure.

This series of contract wins is particularly important for Solux as it transitions from a lighting supplier into a comprehensive provider of electrical solutions. The company’s ability to secure and execute these projects highlights its growing reputation in apartment and mixed-use development projects, which require high standards of electrical safety, construction quality, and delivery capability.

Future Expansion into High-Value Sectors

Long-term, Solux is looking beyond residential and mixed-use developments, with ambitions to tap into high-value sectors such as AI data centers. These centers demand robust power supply systems, stable distribution, and efficient electrical infrastructure, all areas where Solux aims to apply its expertise.

A representative from Solux emphasized the importance of these achievements, stating,

"These consecutive contract wins demonstrate our competitiveness in the electrical construction and infrastructure business. We will establish a stable revenue structure based on apartment and mixed-use electrical construction projects, and further expand our business into high-value infrastructure fields such as data centers."

While maintaining the stability of its traditional LED lighting business, Solux is positioning its electrical construction, infrastructure, and data center projects as key growth drivers. The company aims to build a profitability-focused portfolio to enhance corporate value and expand into new business areas.

With its recent successes in securing high-value contracts, Solux is showing its readiness to evolve, from LED lights into a leader in the electrical infrastructure industry. The strategic shift and continued focus on new mid- to long-term growth areas demonstrate the company’s commitment to building a sustainable and diversified business model. Congratulations on the growth thus far Solux!
