Redwood Services, a prominent name in the essential home services industry, has expanded its national footprint with the acquisition of the Sierra Platform from SE Capital. Announced on May 4, 2026, this strategic move brings five new Partner Companies, nearly 400 full-time teammates, and a customer base of over 40,000 annually under the Redwood umbrella.

Headquartered in Las Vegas, the Sierra Platform is a regional leader in residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, with operations extending across Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, and Colorado. The new additions to Redwood's portfolio include Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric in Denver, Russett Southwest and Pioneer Plumbing in Tucson, Sierra Air Conditioning and Plumbing in Las Vegas, and Ultimate Heating & Air in Boise. These companies, founded between 1947 and the early 2000s, have established strong roots in some of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions.

The Sierra Platform's success is underscored by its financial performance, having surpassed $100 million in residential revenue in 2025 and maintaining more than 19,000 active membership agreements. This track record highlights the platform's operational strength and the loyalty it has cultivated with its customers over the years.

Richard Lewis, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Redwood Services, expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating,

"The brands of the Sierra Platform are exactly the kind of high-quality, high-integrity businesses that fit within Redwood nation. These are five exceptional brands with experienced teams, strong customer relationships, and a track record of performance. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them and support the next chapter of their growth."

The transaction, which was advised by Piper Sandler, marks a significant milestone for Redwood Services. It not only deepens the company’s presence in Tucson but also extends its reach into key markets such as Las Vegas, Denver, and Boise.

As part of the acquisition, RJ Magee, who currently leads the Sierra Platform, will join Redwood as Senior Vice President of Operations. Magee will oversee the integration of the newly acquired companies and their continued growth within Redwood's network. Reflecting on the journey, Magee said,

"Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand the strength of the Sierra Platform businesses and the pride the teams take in serving their local communities. Joining Redwood creates an opportunity to build on that foundation with additional resources and support, while preserving the local leadership and culture that made these businesses successful."

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Memphis, Redwood Services has grown by combining national scale with a commitment to preserving the unique identity of each of its partner businesses. The company provides operational resources, coaching, and strategic partnerships to enhance its partners' ability to deliver exceptional HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services to residential customers. The addition of the Sierra Platform is a testament to Redwood's ongoing mission to empower elite contractors while maintaining their strong local ties.

This acquisition is another step in Redwood Services' journey to create a nationwide, people-focused platform that prioritizes high-quality service and enduring customer relationships. As the company continues to grow, its partnership model remains pivotal in driving its success in the essential home services sector.
