Kian Capital Partners, a lower-middle-market-focused private investment firm, has successfully acquired Integrity Landscape Corporation, a premier full-service commercial landscape services provider in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The acquisition deepens Kian’s thematic focus on essential services and positions Integrity for continued growth across the Bay Area and expansion into new attractive West Coast markets.
Founded in 2016 by Rich Bronstein, Integrity Landscape has been built through the combination of three highly respected brands: CityLeaf, Medallion Landscape, and Serpico Landscaping. The company employs more than 385 dedicated professionals and offers a full suite of recurring landscape maintenance and enhancement services across a diverse customer base that includes expansive HOAs, high-end multi-family communities, and Class-A commercial and retail properties. Integrity operates five strategically located branches in Contra Costa, Alameda, and Santa Clara counties, and is led by industry veteran CEO Raitis Raisian and a long-tenured regional leadership team. Under Raisian’s leadership, the company has invested heavily in people and technology and driven impressive organic and acquisitive growth, building a leading regional platform poised for continued expansion.
With this acquisition, Kian is backing the Integrity team as it strengthens its market leadership in the Bay Area and expands into new West Coast geographies, including broader Northern California, Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. The partnership reflects Kian’s multi-year thematic focus on commercial landscaping, a sector characterized by highly recurring revenue, mission-critical demand, and noticeable market fragmentation. Speaking about the acquisition, Raitis Raisian, CEO of Integrity Landscape, stated:
“When we were evaluating partners to support our next phase of growth, Kian stood out because of their direct experience supporting the growth of similar essential services businesses and their collaborative, partnership-driven culture. Since joining Integrity, I have focused on building a process-driven organization and empowering our talented team to deliver high-quality service to our loyal customers. As I look to the future, I am excited to partner with Kian to build upon our success and expand beyond our Bay Area footprint to create a true leader in commercial landscape services on the West Coast.”
Integrity Founder Rich Bronstein will remain actively involved in the business as a meaningful investor and board member alongside Kian and the Integrity leadership team, supporting continued growth and strategic development. Reflecting on the new chapter for the business, Bronstein remarked:
“My approach has been consistent since founding Integrity: partner with good companies led by highly capable teams and help them grow. I am very proud of the business we have built over the last decade. Our team has built an incredible reputation as an established, trusted name in the Bay Area, and I am excited to support the continued growth of the business as a meaningful investor and board member alongside Kian and Raitis.”
The transaction marks the latest step in Kian’s strategic growth across the commercial landscaping and broader essential services sectors. David Hare, Principal at Kian Capital, commented on the deal:
“We have established a multi-year thematic focus on the commercial landscaping sector given the highly recurring revenue model and significant market fragmentation, and the Integrity platform represents a perfect partnership for Kian. Raitis and Rich have built a differentiated business with the technology and processes in place to scale. We look forward to supporting the team to drive continued growth in the Bay Area and expansion into attractive West Coast markets.”
Kevin McCarthy, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Kian Capital, added:
“We’re thrilled to partner with Raitis, Rich and the Integrity team. Integrity delivers a mission-critical service to its customers, which aligns perfectly with our core essential services investment focus. We are eager to build upon our experience in the route-based services sector and support the Integrity team in its next phase of growth.”
With the investment in Integrity, Kian plans to build on its track record of partnering with leading lower-middle market founders and management teams operating in the essential services and value-added distribution sectors, with a continued focus on opportunities that exhibit mission-critical, non-discretionary demand drivers in highly fragmented markets across the United States. Kian has been recognized on Inc.’s Founder-Friendly Investors list for six consecutive years, reflecting its collaborative, partnership-driven approach to working with founders and management teams.
As part of its next phase of growth, Integrity Landscape is actively seeking partnerships with operators who provide high-quality exterior and interior commercial landscaping services across the Western United States.
CCG Advisors, an Atlanta-based investment banking firm specializing in the green industry, exclusively represented Integrity in the transaction.
