TPI Composites said July 06, 2026 that it has completed its financial restructuring and emerged from Chapter 11, with its Iowa and Juarez, Mexico manufacturing businesses and its global field services business. It will continue under the TPI brand and now is owned by Energy Capital Partners.

The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it is emerging with what it described as an optimized capital structure, no debt, and financial backing from Energy Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on energy transition, electrification, and decarbonization infrastructure.

TPI said its strategy is centered on the North American wind energy market. The company plans to use its manufacturing footprint in the United States and Mexico to serve demand for utility-scale wind blade production tied to rising electricity demand in the U.S.

It also intends to increase investment in manufacturing technology, including its BladeAssure digital quality suite, as part of its effort to supply advanced composite products for the wind sector.

Alongside manufacturing, TPI is expanding its Field Services division in North America and Europe. According to the company, that business provides inspection, preventative maintenance, and structural repair services for wind assets, supported by certified technicians, diagnostics, and automated repair tools.

"Today marks a transformative new chapter for TPI Composites", said Bill Siwek, President and CEO. "We have successfully restructured our balance sheet to emerge as a financially strong partner to our customers. Partnering with Energy Capital Partners gives us the stability and capital necessary to deepen our commitments to the North American manufacturing market and scale our critical Field Services teams across North America and Europe. We are incredibly grateful to our customers, suppliers, partners, professionals, and dedicated workforce for their unwavering support throughout this difficult process."

TPI is a manufacturing partner to the global wind energy market. The company is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, operates factories in the U.S. and Mexico, and has an engineering development center in Denmark with global service operations in the U.S., Mexico, and EU.

Energy Capital Partners, founded in 2005, invests across energy transition, electrification, and decarbonization infrastructure assets, including sectors such as power generation, renewables, storage, and sustainability infrastructure.
