Atmus Filtration Technologies has finalized the acquisition of Koch Filter Corporation, marking a significant move in its expansion into industrial air filtration and high-growth markets. The transaction, valued at approximately $450 million in cash, reinforces Atmus' presence in the industrial and commercial HVAC, data center, and power generation sectors.
The Nashville-based filtration and media solutions provider acquired Koch Filter from Air Distribution Technologies, a portfolio company of Truelink Capital. The deal is subject to customary purchase price adjustments.
"We are excited to welcome the Koch Filter team to Atmus. Together, we are committed to unlocking our growth potential and executing our strategy of expanding into industrial filtration markets", said Steph Disher, CEO of Atmus.
As part of the acquisition, Atmus has established a new Industrial Solutions segment, which will oversee Koch Filter. This segment will be led by Rakesh Gangwani, Senior Vice President of Strategy and President of Industrial Solutions. Mark Mattingly will continue as President of Koch Filter and will report to Gangwani.
The acquisition strengthens Atmus’ industrial air filtration platform and aligns with its strategy of broadening its portfolio across growing markets. By integrating Koch Filter into its operations, Atmus aims to capitalize on emerging opportunities within the filtration industry.
